Using Bepanthol® Anti-Scar Gel

Wounds that are closed for less than a month: (1)

Make sure the wound is completely closed. Do not use Bepanthol® Anti-Scar Gel on an open wound.
Wash your hands for a clean application.
Use the gel on the scar in a gentle circular motion with your finger. Be careful not to apply too much pressure on sensitive skin.
Use twice a day for at least two months.
Wounds that are closed for more than a month: (1)

As the skin will be more sensitive at this stage, you can use the massage ball that comes with Bepanthol® Anti-Scar Gel.

Make sure to clean your hands and massage ball.
Use the massage ball to gently massage the wound with little pressure.
Do not use the gel after the massage.
Repeat this twice a day for at least two months.
When is Bepanthol® Anti-Scar Gel not used? (one)

Do not use on open wounds and mucous membranes (eg, inside the mouth-nose).
Do not use eyes.
Do not use if you have a known allergy to any ingredient.
